A technical meeting was held on July 1, 2025, to launch the “Creating a Circular Economy for Electronics and Electricals in Mongolia” project. Jointly implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and the Communications Regulatory Commission, the project is supported by the Australian Government and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Running until February 2026, it will assess current e-waste levels, map stakeholders, and develop legal and policy recommendations. A similar project will also be carried out in Thailand.
